Not only will your family and guests love the rich flavors, the dish’s vibrant colors make it perfect for special occasions.

What really sets Kalderetang Baka apart from other dishes is the savory blend of spices used to create its unique flavor. The combination of bay leaf, garlic, onion, tomato sauce and black pepper ensures a robust experience that can’t be replicated with other recipes. It also pairs well with rice or potatoes to round out the meal.

How Long Does It Take To Cook?

Cooking time will depend on the type of cut used, but generally it takes about 1.5 – 2 hours for the beef to become tender. You should also remember to keep an eye on the heat: too much heat can cause the sauce to burn, so be sure not to set your stove too high.

Can I Make It Ahead Of Time?

Yes! This dish is even better after it has been allowed to sit overnight, so making it ahead of time is a great idea. Just let it cool down before refrigerating, and then reheat when ready to serve.

Hi, my name is Ryan! Welcome to my little space of the internet! I'm the creator and author behind Kuserrano. This website is my humble way of sharing easy Filipino recipes that I usually prepare for my family.

This all started from an idea that hit me while preparing a meal for my family. Since I have an experience in the world wide web, and I cook everyday for my family, I thought of why not use my skills and share my passion to everyone.

I live in Quezon City, Metro Manila with my wife and kids. My favorite things in life are extra rice, a glass of Coke with a lot of ice and a quick run on a treadmill.
